I know, I know an off the shoulder dress..groundbreaking. Everyone and their mamas have been sporting this trend and yes I have caved and jumped on the bandwangon! There is something about showing off your shoulders that feels so feminine and flirty.  I’ve seen several off the shoulder items that I have been tempted to buy but I really did not want to spend a lot of money on a trendy item.  That is why I knew I had to pick up this dress when I saw it in Forever 21.  This dress was less than $20 which goes to show you do not have to break the bank to be on trend!

I love how flowy and loose the dress is.  It was really hot today and I did a lot of walking (and eating of course)  but yet I felt so comfortable in the dress.  The color of this dress is perfect for summer, especially on sunkissed skin.  I kept all accessories very simple : Alex and Ani bracelets and gold and orange earrings from Express.  I paired the whole ensemble with gold sandals I ordered from Hautelook last summer.  Since I was running some errands earlier in the day, I decided to wear my Louis Vuitton Sienna crossbody bag.  But I also took some pics with a clutch to demonstrate how easy it is to take this outfit from day to night.
