Hello and welcome to my very first blog post!

Why am I starting a blog? Especially when there are so many blogs out there already? Who will actually take the time to view this? I don’t know.  All I know is that I am a 27 year old girl living in one of the best cities in the world with a college degree and a good paying job.  Awesome family and amazing boyfriend.  But am I happy? Nope.

I don’t want to seem ungrateful because I am not.  I am blessed in a lot of ways and I am forever thankful for what I do have.  Yet being stuck in a job you really do not like can take an emotional and physical toll on you.  I want a job I am passionate about.  Something that will make me excited to wake up everyday.  I do not want to dread Mondays.  But until that job comes along, I figured blogging would be a great way of expressing one of my many passions : fashion.

I love putting outfits together, getting dressed up and caking that make up on, hunny! It is amazing how an outfit can change how you feel.

No I am not a professional so please be courteous!  These pictures were taken last week . It was a super hot day in NYC so I kept my outfit very casual with minimal accessories.  The shorts are from Express, one of my favorite stores. They are on the short side but really comfy.  The top I got from Bebe last year if I am not mistaken.  I do not know what it is about off the shoulder tops but they always seem to add a touch of elegance to any outfit.  What do you guys think?
